Peter Flores

Pete Flores is a former US Space Force senior leader with over 30 years of military service.  He is accomplished at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels, with a track record of aligning organizational values and organizational interests to produce success.  Since retiring from the US Space Force in January 2023, he has served as a private consultant, providing subject matter expertise to the Department of Defense and industry.  Pete has been an Elara Nova Partner since August 2023.

Pete is a native of Los Angeles, CA.  He began his military career as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile combat crew member and subsequently transitioned to space operations for the remainder of his career where he served in a series of multi-domain operations and staff positions.  Pete is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, the USAF Weapons School, the USAF School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, and the US Army War College.  Pete transferred from the USAF to the USSF in December 2020, where he served as the Commander, Space Training and Readiness Delta (Provisional), Peterson SFB, CO and as the Commander, Space Delta 12, Schriever SFB, CO.
