Tony Krawietz h1>
With over 30 years of experience in the Air Force and defense industry, Tony is a seasoned leader bringing operational, staff, and leadership perspectives to understand and solve logistics, data, and air refueling issues. Throughout his career, Tony has consistently sought to create cohesive teams to produce better outcomes.
Tony has recently been focused on the defense industry in a variety of roles. As the Business Development lead for Military Aircraft for AirbusUS, Tony was focused on the potential $200M plus Tanker Recap effort to support the AF. His engagement with AFLCMC helped refine and define an extensive set of requirements. He also worked with Airbus Affiliates in Europe to support an AFWERX program to develop new modular Boom technology options. Prior to this, Tony led BD activities for in the AF line of business for Logistics Management Institute (LMI) pursuing Digital Transformation, Data Modeling, and Data Analytics solutions across the AF portfolio. While pursuing contracts from $5M to $100M, Tony’s long-term engagement with multiple DoD customers and relationships created partnerships with multiple defense companies to expand potential customer solutions. Tony also supported the Army’s JIEDDO program as an on-site PM managing and growing the team to 130+ employees.
Tony was fortunate to serve 27 years in the AF with fantastic colleagues, leaders, and mentors. He spent many years fulfilling the AF mission as a C-5 and C-17 pilot supporting seemingly every crisis and conflict around the globe. He served as a leader in Squadron, Vice Wing Command, and Wing Command roles providing leadership, vision, and being amazed by the talent and work ethic of his teams. Tony served directly for the SECAF and CSAF as the Chief of the Commanders Action Group (HAF/CX) supporting and executing the extensive portfolio of work to provide vision, strategy, and execution of priorities across the entire AF enterprise.
