Robert “Rob” Bongiovi is a strategic advisor with 31 years of leadership, strategy, acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and program management experience supporting the Air Force, the Space Force, the Intelligence Community, NASA, and industry. A retired Air Force Colonel, Rob led the Space Force’s space launch programs, was a key leader on the team that delivered the first Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) satellite to orbit, served in the Pentagon on both the Office of the Secretary of Defense staff and the Air Force Staff, and had multiple program and operations assignments at the National Reconnaissance Office.

Rob is known for his ability to develop program strategies and is an expert at communicating complex strategies to broad stakeholder communities. He has successfully developed and operated satellites, payloads, launch systems, and ground systems and is experienced in all facets of program execution, from initial planning through production and operations. Rob has a track record of establishing and leading high-performance teams and organizations.

Rob holds a Master’s in Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
