Eric Brown

Mr. Eric D. Brown joined Elara Nova in January of 2025. He is the Former Deputy Director, Nuclear Command and Control System Support Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and former Commander, 320th Missile Squadron. 

As a member of the Military Officers Association of America, the Air Force Association and the Space Force Association, he contributes by mentoring today’s Airmen and Guardians on the virtues of strategic deterrence, as well as America’s space launch programs. Additionally, Eric is the owner and founder of Platinum Nucleus Enterprises, Inc, where he advises industry partners on USAF/USSF/NASA strategic and growth initiatives.

From 1992 to 2017, Eric’s career in the United States Air Force was marked by significant achievements. He is a two-time Guardian Challenge Space and Missile competition winner.  Eric led the teams that captured the Blanchard Trophy for Best ICBM Wing in 1996 and the Schriever Trophy for Best Space Launch Wing in 2000.  His crew was also named Best Nuclear Operations Crew in the USAF in 1996 and awarded AFA’s General Thomas S. Power Award in 1997. An Air Force Intern Program alumni, Eric holds three Masters degrees including a Masters of Arts in Administrative Science from George Washington University.

Eric’s space launch expertise is driven by space launch assignments at the squadron, wing, MAJCOM and Pentagon, as well as the past eight years working on growth and strategic initiatives for various government contractors.
