Bec Shrimpton

Director, AUS/NZ Partnerships

Bec is Director Defence, Strategy and National Security at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. She has 25 years experience in policy, operational and corporate roles in the Australian Department of Defence and in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and she was Senior Adviser Major Powers to the Australian Foreign Minister. Previous roles include Head of Defence, Space and Infrastructure at Austrade and Director of strategic capabilities in Defence with responsibility for Australian defence space policy.
