Jennifer Reeves is a recognized space and defense strategist, retired U.S. Air Force colonel, and former commander with more than three decades of experience leading complex organizations, managing critical national security missions, and advising senior decision-makers on strategic transformation. Throughout her career, she has led organizations entrusted with some of the nation’s most critical defense missions, directing billions of dollars in assets, thousands of personnel, and mission sets where failure was not an option.

During her military service, Reeves commanded the Air Force’s largest intercontinental ballistic missile wing, leading 4,000 military and civilian personnel and overseeing $6 billion in strategic assets. She later served in the Pentagon as Chief of Program Integration, helping evaluate, prioritize, and integrate investments across the $950 billion Department of the Air Force budget portfolio. Her work informed resource allocation decisions that shaped future force structure, modernization priorities, and long-term national defense strategy.

Beyond operational leadership, Reeves has built a reputation for translating highly technical and complex issues into clear, actionable strategies. Her experience spans space operations, including missile warning, satellite communications, and GPS, software-enabled decision support, organizational transformation, and enterprise-level planning. She combines deep technical expertise with practical leadership experience to help organizations align strategy, resources, technology, and people toward measurable outcomes.

Today, Reeves serves as a Senior Resident Fellow at the Mitchell Institute’s Spacepower Advantage Center of Excellence, where she leads research and engagement on military space power, commercial space integration, and national security strategy. Through publications, speaking engagements, and advisory work, she regularly engages senior leaders across government, industry, and academia on the challenges shaping the future of national security space operations.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic insight, and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders, Reeves helps organizations navigate uncertainty, identify opportunities, and execute lasting change.
